The project – The BIMP-EAGA BUSINESS PORTAL - which is being led by Darwin based TechnicaOne Business Solutions is working closely with Government Agencies, Chambers of Commerce and SME's within the BIMP-EAGA Region of Brunei Darussalam, Eastern Indonesia, Borneo Malaysia and Southern Philippines along with BIMP-EAGA’s Development Partner, the Northern Territory of Australia.

The BIMP-EAGA BUSINESS PORTAL, or BEBP, is a sophisticated business Portal project that is designed to assist SME's throughout the region to gain access to the international market place.

It was first launched in 2006 and over the last 12 months this visionary project has turned into reality resulting in a large project with over 30 project members representing Government, Industry groups, and Chambers of Commerce right across the region.

The project has continued to gain momentum and has achieved significant recognition from the region. With continued successful project milestones being achieved throughout the project all stakeholders and SME's have benefited from the project.

This project has received support from Microsoft Australia and Redmond and has benefited from using Microsoft .Net technologies which has resulted in a highly scalable, reliable and robust architecture.

The BIMP-EAGA BUSINESS PORTAL is not only opening up a world of opportunities for small regional traders and service providers, but it is helping to build and grow the capacity of small and medium enterprises in this exciting region.
