As Project Director for one of the State's most ambitious building projects, the Southbank Education and Training Precinct, Adrian Jones successfully led a team that delivered a complex and demanding project ahead of schedule, within budget and with excellent safety, quality and environmental records. This was all achieved while the institute remained operational, with 27,000 staff and students working and studying within the construction precinct over a 3.5 year period.

As the State's first Public Private Partnership project the Southbank Education and Training Precinct also had to contend with a delivery model untried in Queensland, with the Partnership aspect of this approach critical to the eventual success of this project.

It cannot be understated just how important relationships with the key stakeholders of this project were. As Project Director for the Design and Construction of this complex project, Adrian was directly responsible for helping to foster and create these excellent relationships that paved the way for the seamless construction of this world-class educational campus, a full teaching semester early and without dispute.
